Job Description :
Primary responsibilities
- To evaluate and finalize route of synthesis
- To develop process for intermediates
- To finalize the procedure and execute its scale-up to generate data for optimization of various reaction parameters like temperature, pressure, solvent consumption, yield etc.
- To carry out research and development activities as per work Instructions.
- Maintain Quality Records as defined in the relevant Quality Operating Procedure.
- To carry out review of Literature and select a suitable route based upon the simplicity of the process availability of raw materials and infrastructural facility.
- To lead a group of Officers / Research Associates for particular project whenever required.
- Ensure that final inspection of products is carried out in accordance with the relevant Quality Operating Procedure and Work Instruction.
- Procurement of raw materials, equipments, other facilities required for the preparation of the desired product.
- Planning lab scale activities for particular project.
- Recording of communication in respect to specifications/ acceptance criteria, method of analysis and shipment & packaging
- Preparation of lab process document
- Preparation of monthly reports.
- In process sampling at various stages during lab scale experiments.
Key Responsibilities:
- CRAMS Experience/Process Knowledge/Knowledge of handling Hazardous Chemical at plant level
Education Qualification:
M Sc Organic Chemistry
